Happy Fathers Day and Thanks for Voting

I hope everybody had a great Fathers Day. Well unfortunately, my Bella did not make the top ten cut for consideration for the Wine label contest. Do take a look at the finalist, though.

Not such a bad day, I had a great bike ride and capped the day Saturday camping with the boys, we fished, skipped rocks, sat by the camp fire singing the Sponge Bob "Camp Fire" song and drifted to sleep under the stars. A cool breeze off the lake kept the bugs away and beat the humidity back.

Some camp fire bacon, pancakes were a great way to start the day, we met friends for a few hours of boating and came home to relax by the pool. A great weekend.

Voting ends today

Well the voting ends today for the wine label contest. If you have not voted for Bella, please do, the links are on a previous blog post.
I have been busy painting,, "my big painting", but it is not done yet. The blues are the way to go... and the greens and purples will look great.
Above is a recent painting. Her name is Lily Kate. I love her, she has a great personality, if you like her, you can buy her, she'll make you smile every day.

Show Bella the love

Okay... This one is for sale

I started sketching out my latest painting. The pieces are coming together. It will be in blues, with highlights of green and purple, but used sparingly as accents.

My backgrounds are typically just that background, it is my hope to make this background become more of the painting... we'll see.

I posted another painting, this one is actually for sale. Call/email me if you like it, the size is 40x40. It is wonderful

A new painting is in the works

I have been thinking about a big painting for some time. A nice 60 x 40 painting, I would like to do it in blues, possible all blues. I'm still formulating what it might look like. In the mean time, here is one of my old favorites.

I like this painting

This is a really cooll painting I did a while back. I love the colors and the dogs personality really shows through nicely. The girl I painted it for was very cool as well. The Dogs name is Bop. As i recall she had 3 or 4 dogs, though Bop by far was the most fun to paint.

Yeah I can paint other stuff too

This is my latest painting. Though I have taken a break from painting, I am back. Good to be at the easel again. This was the bike I rode for the 2005 Ironman.
